Flummies (flum`-meez`) n. - traditional Labrador trappers' bread using a mixture of flour, salt and baking powder

Over the past four decades the Labrador band,
THE FLUMMIES, have been performing at various theatres, events and music festivals in various provinces and territories of Canada. Button accordion jigs and reels, mixed with self penned country/rock favorites, continue to please audiences in Atlantic Canada and in Northern Canadian communities.
The Flummies have recorded and released 9 cds and were featured in their own television special titled "Labrador Originals" produced thru Bravo! Canada and APTN. The Flummies record and release on their own independent label KENAMU RECORDS.
